Prolink
It looks like Prolink just dropped a generic cooling solution on their Pixelview part. It's not pretty, and it should have done the job, but we ended up running into a heat issue as we did with MSI and Gigabyte.We extend the same offer to Prolink that we do to MSI and Gigabyte - send us an updated card and we will retest your part's cooling ability and include an update to our article. Aside from being the hottest part that we tested due to its thermal contact issues, this card was also fairly loud.
The Pixelview solution from Prolink was equipped with an ASIC that lends itself well to overclocking. Unfortunately, this doesn't do much to make up for the problems that could have been solved if the heatsink had been mounted differently.
