Memory Stress Testing
Our memory stress test measures the ability of the Jetway nForce4 to operate at its officially supported memory frequency (400MHz DDR), at the lowest memory timings that OCZ PC3200 Platinum Rev. 2 modules will support. All DIMMs used for stress testing were 512MB double-sided (or double-bank) memory. To make sure that memory performed properly in Dual-Channel mode, memory was only tested using either one dual-channel (2 DIMMs) or 2 dual-channels (4 DIMMs).Stable DDR400 Timings - One Dual-Channel (2/4 DIMMs populated) |
|
Clock Speed: | 200MHz |
CAS Latency: | 2 |
RAS to CAS Delay: | 2T |
RAS Precharge: | 7T |
Precharge Delay: | 2T |
Command Rate: | 1T |
Using two DIMMs in Dual-Channel 128-bit mode, the memory performed in all benchmarks at the fastest 2-2-2-7 timings at default voltage, which was the only memory voltage available.
Stable DDR400 Timings - 4 DIMMs (4/4 DIMMs populated) |
|
Clock Speed: | 200MHz |
CAS Latency: | 2.0 |
RAS to CAS Delay: | 2T |
RAS Precharge: | 7T |
Precharge Delay: | 2T |
Command Rate: | 2T |
Tests with all four DIMM slots populated on the Jetway 939GT4-SLI required a 2T Command Rate with 4 DIMMs in two dual channels. This is the pattern seen on every other top-performing Socket 939 board. This performance is completely competitive with the best that we have seen on nForce4 motherboards for Socket 939.

I've had better luck with Jetway than with PC Chips motherboards, but haven't used either in a long time. This one sounds very interesting.shady06 - Wednesday, August 24, 2005 - link
wow, wasnt expecting jetway to come along and run with DFI...Bozo Galora - Wednesday, August 24, 2005 - link
Well, the question is - can we GET a bios that will do the the higher MSB's???Or is it just on your wish list.
If such bios is offered, I buy one.
The 3 slot thingy is so obvious, yet so clever.

Wow, this seems like a dream board for the el cheapo enthusiast!Samus - Wednesday, August 24, 2005 - link
I'm considering replacing my Asus A8NSLI $200 board with this because the Asus has huge limitations on overclocking memory and FSB.bob661 - Wednesday, August 24, 2005 - link
Who would've ever thought to replace an Asus with a Jetway.Wesley Fink - Wednesday, August 24, 2005 - link
Thank you to those who pointed out errors in the review. The above items have been corrected.Avalon - Wednesday, August 24, 2005 - link
This board sounds amazing.bob661 - Wednesday, August 24, 2005 - link
Yeah, I'm in shock. Guess I'll keep an eye out on this one.Furen - Wednesday, August 24, 2005 - link
I was wondering if the EVGA SLI that you get for free when you purchase an Nvidia GeForce 7800gt/gtx is this same board (the board looks the same except for the color scheme)?
