Super Flower Amazon 650W Power Supply

Packaging and Appearance
With a name like Amazon, you might think Super Flower would choose to go with a jungle theme on the packaging and marketing material... and you'd be right. This is also a play on the "green" theme, with 80Plus and 80Plus Bronze labels prominently visible on the packaging. The box doesn't feature any noteworthy accessories, at least on our review unit. All you get is the power supply and the manual -- though it's worth noting that the Amazon series isn't available in the market yet, so actual retail models may differ from what we received.
Inside the box we find a black power supply with a large 140mm fan. We received the LED version (much to our disappointment), but other than the lighting we don't expect the fans to differ in speed or acoustics. The back as usual is perforated with the power jack and power switch on one side. Super Flower uses hexagon holes that are larger than what we are used to seeing. All the other sides are closed so that all airflow will exhaust out the rear of the case. The Amazon series does not use any form of cable management, so all of the cables are fixed to the power supply.

I think it's actually interesting what companies can do. It might not be helpful to find a new PSU for your setup, I know, at least not for now. It's showing however what the companies are capable of.InvertMe - Thursday, October 16, 2008 - link
"Super Flower says that we did not the unit we received should be representative of stock units,"Just letting you know. :)

"(Ed: The English grammar on the packaging could also use some work.)"Other then the slogan ("Always Accompany With You") I didn't see anything that odd. The Cooler Master Centurion 5 box, for example, is much more interesting.
Looked like there were some burn marks or something like that on parts of the heatsinks? Is that a varnish spray or something?

Regarding grammar, I was thinking more of the packaging, not the PSU label. You can see what I mean in this image:http://images.anandtech.com/galleries/248/08.jpg">http://images.anandtech.com/galleries/248/08.jpg
Is it terrible? No, but there are lots of little things. "Support Intel Core 2..." instead of "Supports". "More than 2000 times ON/OFF test." "PCI-E 6pin and 8(6+2)pin Connector Satisfy High-end Graphic Card Requirement." (...connectors support high-end graphics cards" would be better.) Just a guess, but I'm sure their manual has some interesting wording as well. Never mind the company name of Super Flower, which sounds like something from the 60s. :-)

Could also be the name of a Chinese take-out place, they tend to follow a form like that.Sure, the label isn't great, but compared to some of the boxes and manuals I have seen before it is quite clear. As you said, their manual might prove more interesting.
