Since our TNT2 would not complete a single run of Quake III Arena while operating at 89MHz (2/3 * 133MHz), the 133MHz FSB scores have obviously been left out. Part 2 of this article will concentrate on overclocking using the 133MHz bus and will naturally feature scores taken with the Tyan Trinity 400 at the 133MHz FSB.
The performance gain here is impressive nonetheless, pushing the 550E to 682 gives the Athlon and Pentium III 700 a run for their money while the 500E at 620 just barely lags behind.
Here the TNT2 Ultra is fill rate limited and thus there is no performance difference across the board.
