Performance
The K7T Master performs
a little bit above average, enough to give it a slightly above average
rating but not enough to really make a difference.

Price
With so many features
included in this motherboard, expect the price to be considerably more
than the K7T Pro. However, also consider what you're getting in the
package. The old saying, "you get what you pay for" comes
into play here.

Stability
K7T Pro was rock
solid and the K7T Master is no different. It again comes out to be one
of the most stable KT133 motherboard we have reviewed.

8.5
|
Quality
The K7T Master is
a very high quality motherboard which is what we're used to seeing from
Microstar.

Features
The AGP Pro slot,
4 DIMM slots, 6PCI slots, Ultra160 SCSI, Firewire, ATA 33/66/100 support,
IDE RAID support, Fuzzy Logic II, Live BIOS, etc… all are features that
the Microstar K7T Master boasts, is there any need to say more?

Layout
The layout of the
K7T Master is decent. The positioning of the SCSI controller and the
Firewire controller are very appropriate. The CPU socket and the power
supply connector might be a slight problem when it comes to cooling
and installing/removing your CPU.

Availability
Microstar motherboards
can easily be found in online stores, but do not expect to find them
in many retail stores..

Documentation
& Software Bundle
The manual lacks
sufficient instruction for first time users, but it still contains a
lot of useful information on connectors and jumper settings. The software
included on the bundled CD is very useful, especially Fuzzy Logic II
and Live BIOS, especially for those that aren't always comfortable with
flashing their BIOSes.
